Connecting the world
The internet has revolutionized the way we interact with technology and has become one of humanity's most ambitious endeavors. It is the digital foundation that allows us to do things that were only imaginable just a few decades ago, enabling relatively instant communication across the globe. People from all walks of life have found, and will continue to find more, ways to use the internet every day.
It is now so engrained in our society that whether you directly use a traditional computer or smart phone every day or not, you likely still use it indirectly in your everyday life. Grocery stores, restaurants, public transit, security cameras, cars, wearables - even our own homes and workplaces are gradually becoming more and more connected. All of the devices that we find in these everyday places have allowed us to become the growing world that we are today, and the internet further allows us to connect them together in a nearly endless amount of ways.
What our new organization, IOTEA, aims to do is make secure connectivity accessible to everyone - without needing to know how to write code. Over the next few months, we will be releasing recorded demonstrations of how our platform enables this accessibility in a variety of use cases. For those readers who do write code: our platform will feel like a refreshing take on backend software engineering… and if you have no idea what that means, you’ll be amazed at what you can do with only a few clicks.
